Do you have any favorite peices by yoshitaka amano
As you may already know or not, I’m a huge fan of his Vampire Hunter D works….. It’s impossible to pick favorites, but here are a few that I particularly like (from the small art book, didn’t have the time to go through the big one as well) + one non-vhd one.
Anyway…. D… they are just. Everything. 😩
Also, I love the sensuality and subtle (or not so subtle) eroticism in many of Amano’s works. The half lidded eyes, the ethereal atmosphere, lips parted in a sigh….. 😩👌💦

Sorry, I don’t actually… use tumblr. I am using tumblr right now, alright. But generally I just drop my own art and then I’m gone. Once in a while I check a handful of tags and blogs that are still active, but that’s it. Like 3 tags and 4 blogs that I check about every 3-6 weeks

I would love to do some pottery again, just for fun. Last time I did, I was like… 10?
As for job positions I’m looking for: character design & illustration for (video) games and any related media, book covers, editorial illusts.
Actually I’d be open to any job that is remotely interesting and pays. It’s more an issue of streamlining my portfolio into certain directions.

I just dropped a project that is an original world with original characters 🙊. I also have oc(s) that just Exist. without any real worldbuilding.
As for the order of creation, it depends solely on intent, no? Building a world around a character vs. fitting a character into a world are different approaches that yield different results. Either one is a valid choice depending on your intent.
